The Ashley Rose Scholarship was named in honor of Permission to F.L.Y.’s beloved co-founder, Ashley Rose Favors, whose legacy continues through the philanthropic initiatives of Permission to F.L.Y. (Fully Love Yourself). Permission to F.L.Y.'s mission is to empower, inspire, and mentor girls and women with rare/visible medical conditions through the performing arts, education, and advocacy.
The Ashley Rose Scholarship is for grades 8th – 12th and for College Freshmen/ Sophomores. The recipient of the Ashley Rose Scholarship has a rare/visible medical condition but does not accept it as a limitation or burden, instead, she embraces it as motivation to fulfill her higher purpose. The Ashley Rose Scholarship recipient perceives her uniqueness as a gift to show the world how diverse beauty can be.
